- The Screwtape Letters, by C. S. Lewis -- a famous (and hilarious) guide to the Christian life from the viewpoint of a devil.
- Evil and the Justice of God, by N. T. Wright -- this theodicy begins by noting that most theodicies are not very good . . . which is something you will certainly learn this quarter!
- Finally, I've not read anything by William Wink; neither do I know anyone who has . . . but N. T. Wright speaks highly of him, and his interest in "principalities and powers" certainly sounds like something that could tie-in with this quarter's lessons. Anybody know anything about him?

This is a good introduction to Wink's work.
